I’m scrapbooking these cute photos of my baby girl having fun at the park with her Grandad. I’ve kept the layout quite simple to keep the focus on the pure joy on her little face. I’ve paired my photos with Vintage Feelings papers from Make and Create and dies from XCut and Sizzix. I scrapbook on a tight budget and I’m sharing some of my ideas to keep costs down.

Designer Scrapbook Papers

I love the designer papers from Make and Create. There are loads and loads of different designs to choose from. I’m literally spoilt for choice. The quality is great, they don’t feel thin or flimsy but they are fantastically good value.

I get them from the Works and typically pay just £4 a pack. Even on a tight budget I can afford to have a whole stack to choose from.

The denim and sandy brown shades in this Vintage Feelings pack were just right to complement the denim of my baby girl’s dress and the wood chip ground in the background.

Scrapbook Embellishments

I love the butterflies on the Vintage Feelings paper I picked out. I hunted through my die stash and found this little butterfly die from XCut.

I just treated myself to this Garden Greens die set from Sizzix. I’m often short on more interesting greenery for my cards and scrapbook pages. I think this die set will come in handy for Christmas cards and masculine cards.

I’ve inked the edges of each layer with Faded Jeans Distress Ink.

Scrapbook Page Title

For the title I’ve inked up one of my favourite alphabet stamps. I originally bought mine from Papermania but it’s long since been discontinued, I was able to find a similar one on Amazon to link below. I love that this little stamp set has both capital and lower case letters as well as a cursive font.

I’m on a tight budget so I am very careful about where I spend my crafty pennies. Products that I will use time and time again for many different projects are worth investing in. This stamp set has been one of those crafty staples.
