I’m scrapbooking a trip to a local town for their 1940’s Parade weekend. The kids made suffragette medals and had a ride on a vintage bus.
Designer Scrapbook Papers
I wanted to use a red and blue theme so I picked out this Live Life in Full Bloom paper pack by Craft Sensations. I get these paper packs from the Range, they’re lovely quality and ridiculously cheap.

Scrapbook Embellishments
The layout needed a little something else so I’ve used my favourite Spellbinders die to add some die cut flowers. I’ve glued a few buttons to the centre of each flower to give them a little dimension.
I should have left it at that but I felt that I should make use of this union jack ribbon I won in a competition years and years ago. I’m really not happy with how the ribbon looks.

Scrapbook Page Title
I saved some leaflets and tickets from the day which I’ve used to embellish my scrapbook layout. I love using little bits of memorabilia like this.
The main leaflet makes up the scrapbook page title. Easy peasy!

A Little Bit About Me . . .
Thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the interweb. I’m Bridie, mum to two small humans, full time homemaker and full time craftaholic – which totally explains why I’m always short on time!

I’ve included links to my favourite retailers for the products I’ve used to make my crafts. Click on any of the product images and links for full details. If you decide to buy any of these products I may get a small percentage of what you spend. There’s no cost to you at all.
