Driving in My Car | Baby Scrapbook Page Inspiration

How cute is my baby girl playing driving? I love preserving these precious memories with scrapbook layouts. I’ve paired these adorable photos with Florals and Basics papers from Craft Sensations and embellished my scrapbook layout with gems.

Keep on reading and I’ll show you exactly how I’ve created this scrapbook page and how you can make your own layouts and treasure your own photos.

Designer Scrapbook Papers

I love the designer papers form Craft Sensations. There are loads and loads of different designs to choose from. I’m literally spoilt for choice. The quality is great, they don’t feel thin or flimsy but they are fantastically good value.

I get them from the Range and typically pay just £2.99 a pack. Even on a tight budget I can afford to have a whole stack to choose from.

The Florals and Basics paper pack features lots of soft pastel blues and pinks along with deep dark navy blues. I thought it was a good match for my baby girl’s fair skin and the the darker colours of the car steering wheel.

Scrapbook Embellishments

I’ve gone to town with tiny little gems in pale pink and baby blue. They give this scrapbook page a lovely touch of sparkle.

I’ve added a little extra interest to frame the photos using XCut’s Extra Large Scalloped Circle die.

Scrapbook Page Title

I wasn’t sure what to do with the title on this scrapbook layout. After more than a little procrastinating I decided to just stamp a simple title in scraps of pale pink paper. I mounted them onto navy blue scraps to make them stand out a little better and rounded the corners with a corner punch.

A Little Bit About Me . . .

Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the interweb. I’m Bridie.

I’ve been crafting since I was toddling around craft shows while my mum sold knitting yarn. She used to buy me a new craft kit to keep me busy. When I grew up I set up my own online craft shop and loved every minute of it. There’s is nothing like the thrill of getting to be one of the first people to see new craft collections. I sold my business to focus on raising my two children.

They’re still young so for now I’m blogging my scrapbooking layouts and sharing tutorials to inspire you. I love scrapbooking to preserve precious memories of my kids childhoods. But scrapbooking can be such an expensive hobby! I hope that I can teach you how to scrapbook on a budget, even how to make scrapbook layouts for Free.

I’ll show you all the best ways to craft on a tight budget so you can still create a life you love.
