I’m scrapbooking these cute photos of my baby girl stubbornly refusing to eat her own breakfast and stealing my breakfast instead. This cute baby scrapbook layout features a vintage style created with Dovecraft’s Floral Muse papers and various embellishments, such as distressed edges, paper glitter flowers, and pearls.
Designer Scrapbook Papers
The muted shades of these photos were the perfect match to the Floral Muse papers from Dovecraft.
Scrapbook Embellishments
In a change from my usual style I’ve included quite a lot of different embellishments on this scrapbook layout.
On this scrapbook layout I’ve distressed the edges of my papers with a pair of scissors. I’ve just dragged the edge of the paper over the blade of the scissors until I’m happy with the distressing.
I’m enhanced this distressed, vintage vibe with these paper glitter flowers. They each have a little pearl in the centre. I’ve added some extra pearls around my pictures too.
The Floral Muse collection includes these beautiful dollies. Like the rest of the collection they are really subtle so they make great background texture.
My kids bought me these cute button embellishments and I’ve added a little pink wooden heart to my scrapbook layout.
In the background I’ve made a strip of layered distressed papers. I felt it needed a little something more so I made a ribbon embellishment strip. I layered organza ribbon in cream with come simple lace and finished it off with a length of glitter washi tape.
Scrapbook Page Title
For the scrapbook page title I reached for one of my favourite dies, the Mid West Alphabet from XCut. I die cuts the letters from some scraps of Floral Muse papers but I used the back of the papers which is plain white. The letters still felt a little lost on my page so I stuck them onto some strips of layered and distressed papers.

I’ve been crafting since I was toddling around craft shows while my mum sold knitting yarn. She used to buy me a new craft kit to keep me busy. I love creating handmade cards with digital stamps. I scrapbook to preserve precious memories of my kids childhoods. I knit and sew to keep my kids in comfortable, unique clothes they love. I create batch cooked meals that give me more time to craft. And because I’m not currently earning I do all of this on a teeny tiny budget.
