Jungle Dreams Smile – Scrapbook Layout Inspiration

I love how well this scrapbook layout came together. The Jungle Dreams papers from Craft Sensations co-ordinated perfectly with my baby’s jungle themed bouncer. It was one of those scrapbook pages that just came together!

Designer Scrapbook Papers

I love the designer papers form Craft Sensations. There are loads and loads of different designs to choose from. I’m literally spoilt for choice. The quality is great, they don’t feel thin or flimsy but they are fantastically good value.

I get them from the Range and typically pay just £2.99 a pack. Even on a tight budget I can afford to have a whole stack to choose from.

Scrapbook Embellishments

On this layout I’ve really put my die cuts to work. I’ve used circle and scalloped circle dies to add interesting details to the background. Then I’ve added some distressed look die cut flowers with little green gems for a bit of a feature.

Scrapbook Page Title

The title is my favourite part of this scrapbook layout. I used a little XCut die to die cut a set of pennants. Each one has a little die cut letter. Then I’ve stuck a length of kraft covered wire behind them to make a bunting effect. I trap the wire between two 3D foam pads to keep it secured to the page.

I really like this technique for titles because it makes the letter stand out without using large letters that might overpower a scrapbook page.
