This Tatty Teddy digital stamp is super easy to colour with ProMarkers. I’ve paired him with First Edition Love Story papers for a quick and easy new baby girl card.
Keep on reading and I’ll show you how to make your own handmade cards. I’m including ProMarker blends and all the craft stash and crafting techniques I’ve used.
Digital Stamping
The Digi image is from DoCrafts Digital Designer Especially For You CD.
There are thousands of different digital stamps availible online. Click here to take a look at my favourites.
I print my digital stamps onto Ultimate Graphic 160gsm paper. It’s bright white so my colours really pop and it’s super smooth surface makes blending easier.
You don’t need a fancy or expensive printer to print digital stamps. I use a very old HP Officejet, any inkjet printer will do.
I’ve coloured this little cutie with my Winsor & Newton BrushMarkers.
Here’s the shade’s I’ve used:

Designer Papers

These Love Story papers from First Edition were the perfect shade of vintage pink to suit this new baby girl card. They are fantastic quality papers, really thick and with lots of little details like textures and embossing.
Die Cutting
I use dies to make frames around my digital stamps. I always colour my image first in case I make a mess of it.
Then I choose a die shape and size that suits my image and run it through my die cutting machine.
On this card I have used a plain circle die from XCut.
I like to use distress inks to add a bit of colour around my images. I use a Blending Tool to sweep the ink onto the edges of my die cut shape. For this card I’ve used Tattered Rose.
Embellishments

I’ve added this little length of lace behind the Tatty Teddy image. It’s layered onto a scrap of pink ribbon, both from my craft stash.

Because this is quite a simple card I wanted to add a little something to the top corner. I love these little adhesive pearls for adding a little bit of interest and texture to the corner of my handmade cards and crafts.
Take a Peak Inside
I think it’s such a shame to receive a beautifully decorated card only to open it and be faced with a blank page. So I use more of my designer papers to decorate the insides of my cards. I mostly use scraps leftover from the main design and a 10cm square of plain paper to write a nice message onto.

A Little Bit About Me . . .
Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the interweb. I’m Bridie.
I’ve been crafting since I was toddling around craft shows while my mum sold knitting yarn. She used to buy me a new craft kit to keep me busy. When I grew up I set up my own online craft shop and loved every minute of it. There’s is nothing like the thrill of getting to be one of the first people to see new craft collections. I sold my business to focus on raising my two children.
They’re still young so for now I’m blogging my craft projects and sharing tutorials to inspire you. I love creating handmade cards to show my loved ones how much I care. I scrapbook to preserve precious memories of my kids childhoods. I knit and sew to keep my kids in comfortable, unique clothes they love. I create batch cooked meals to give me more time to craft. And because I’m not currently earning I do all of this on a tiny budget.
I’ll show you all the best ways to craft on a tight budget so you can still create a life you love.

I’ve included links to my favourite retailers for the products I’ve used to make my crafts. Click on any of the product images and links for full details. If you decide to buy any of these products I may get a small percentage of what you spend. There’s no cost to you at all.
