Photos of my sweet little baby girl opening her very first Christmas gift on her very first Christmas Day. I’ve paired them with one of my favourite Christmas paper packs, Joy to the World from Craft Sensations.
Designer Scrapbook Papers

I’ve recently treated myself to a whole stack of Craft Sensations 12×12 inch papers from the Range. They’re typically £2.99 a pack and the papers are lovely quality so I can’t just leave then on the shelf now can I!?!
Yes I have a problem and now I have a stack so big I doubt I’ll get chance to use them all. But hey, I’m doing my best to justify my impulse purchases and get on with my stack of photos to scrapbook.
This particular paper pack is called Joy to the World. It has a decidedly vintage vibe with lots of browns and muted shades of red. I wanted to echo the neutral shades of Little Miss’s baby grow with a little red and green seen as it’s Christmas.

Scrapbook Embellishments
I’ve kept the embellishments pretty light on this scrapbook layout. I wanted to let the Craft Sensations papers and the photos shine.
However I have made use of the paper embellishments included with the Joy to the World paper pack. I’ve fussy cut them out and stuck them into one corner.

I’ve also made use of the postcard and some of the tags that are included in the paper pack. I’ve added a little texture to the tags with a scrap of organza ribbon which I’ve stapled in place.

For a little touch of glitter I’ve used a strip of gold glitter washi tape and layered it on top of some plain red washi tape.
Scrapbook Page Title
I’ve chosen to skip the title on this layout. It’s not something I normally do but occasionally I think a big title just detracts from the photos. I have however used a postcard with a little greeting on it which reads “A Merry Everything and a Happy Always”. I think it’s a lovely sentiment for a Baby’s Christmas layout.

A Little Bit About Me . . .
Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the interweb. I’m Bridie.
I’ve been crafting since I was toddling around craft shows while my mum sold knitting yarn. She used to buy me a new craft kit to keep me busy. When I grew up I set up my own online craft shop and loved every minute of it. There’s is nothing like the thrill of getting to be one of the first people to see new craft collections.
I sold my business to focus on raising my two children. They’re still young so for now I’m blogging my craft projects and sharing tutorials to inspire you. I love creating handmade cards with digital stamps. I scrapbook to preserve precious memories of my kids childhoods. I knit and sew to keep my kids in comfortable, unique clothes they love. I create batch cooked meals that give me more time to craft. And because I’m not currently earning I do all of this on a teeny tiny budget.
I’ll show you all the best ways to craft on a tight budget so you can still create a life you love.

I’ve included links to my favourite retailers for the products I’ve used to make my crafts. Click on any of the product images and links for full details. If you decide to buy any of these products I may get a small percentage of what you spend. There’s no cost to you at all.
