My Baby Girl opening her very First Christmas Present on her very First Christmas Eve. How could I not Scrapbook such a sweet memory.
Designer Scrapbook Papers
These First Noel papers from Papermania have been in my stash for years and years and years. I seem to forget about them every Christmas. I think it’s one of those paper packs that I absolutely loved but have used just about all of the designs that really made me go “Ohhh” and what’s left is decidedly “meh” in comparison.
I’m endeavouring to stash bust my 12×12 paper stash so I’m making a point of using them on a layout this year. The traditional reds and foliage prints were just right for scrapbook this photo of my baby girl opening her Very First Christmas gift.

Scrapbook Embellishments
There was a poinsettia in one corner of the papers that was just too big and beautiful to cover up. I cut around the shape with a sharp craft knife and pulled just part of it over the photo mat.
I made use of some old peel off scraps. They are just little circles left over from a sheet of peel off greetings but I think they give just the slightest impression of snow . . . maybe . . .

Scrapbook Page Title
I couldn’t see anywhere to add a title that would look good so I just left it off. I’ve included a little subtle journaling under the pictures instead.
