Chunky Hoody Easy Knitting Project with James C Brett JB629

I’m knitting my Little Dude another chunky hoody. He’s picked out some Hayfield Baby Blossom Chunky yarn and a chunky hoody knitting pattern by James C Brett. This is a nice simple raglan hoody knitted in stockinette stitch. It knits up quickly and is an easy knitting project, perfect for beginners.

Knitting Yarn

This chunky hoody is knitted from Hayfield Baby Blossom Chunky yarn from Sirdar. Being a chunky yarn it knits up nice and quickly so this is a great knitting project for beginners.

Knitting Pattern

The knitting pattern is James C Brett’s JB629. It’s mostly knitted in stockinette stitch so it’s a nice and easy knitting project that’s perfect for beginners. Because it’s a chunky yarn it knits up super quickly too.

This is the third time I’ve knitted this pattern and it’s always been a nice relaxing knitting project, perfect for when life is busy and I want something mindless to keep my hands occupied in the evenings. I’m one of those people who can’t just rest – I always have to be doing something.

Knitting Notions

My Little Dude picked out these sweet round floral buttons. I was surprised he didn’t go for something fancier, but hey, I’m not going to complain. I think something fancier would have looked silly so he made the right choice.
