I’m scrapbooking some photos of my baby girl’s first climb up our local “almost mountain”, Pendle Hill. It’s where the European Witch Trails started and is rather famous. It’s also a heck of a climb! But it’s so worth it to get to the top and see the stunning views of the area. I’m pairing my photos with Vintage Florals papers from My Minds Eye and a mix of DIY and pre-made embellishments.
Designer Scrapbook Papers
This is one of my oldest paper packs. It’s from My Minds Eye and includes a whopping 180 papers – which is why it’s been in my stash for so long! The papers are quite thin but there is a huge variety to choose from. As the name suggests they are all vintage floral themed.

This pack tends to get forgotten in my stash as newer, more exciting papers take centre stage. But every time I get it out I wonder why I don’t use it more often. The designs are beautiful, subtle abstract florals that suit lots of different scrapbook layouts and cards.

Scrapbook Embellishments

I’ve used lots of these glitter paper flowers to decorate my scrapbook layout. They are availible form my Etsy shop, just click the images below if you want some for your own cards and layouts.

I’ve made my own embellished strip with Antique Floral paper strips layered with white lace, organza ribbon and a strip of washi tape.
I’ve inked all of the edges generously with Tim Holtz’s Distress Ink in Crushed Olive. And I’ve added a few little Simply Creative Pearls onto my scrapbook layout.
Scrapbook Page Title

For the scrapbook page title I reached for one of my favourite dies, the Mid West Alphabet from XCut. I die cut the letters from some scraps of Vintage Floral papers. I use a glue pen to stick them in place on my scrapbook layout.
