A super quick and easy little knitting project with yarn scraps. I used a free knitting pattern and knitted a cute little headband for my Little Miss.
Keep on reading for details of the free pattern I’ve used.
Knitting Yarn
I’m on a mission to clear out my yarn stash. I’ve bought some new yarn over the past few years and whilst I’ve finished knitting the projects I bought it for there’s all the leftover odd balls and little bits leftover cluttering up my yarn stash drawer.
I’ve challenged myself to get them all (or at least mostly) knitted up before I buy the new yarn I’ve been coveting.
This yarn came free with a knitting magazine. I have no idea what so ever what it is, what fibre or anything.
It’s also a really annoying quantity, too much to throw away but too little to actually do anything with.

Knitting Pattern
I decided to use these little scraps to knit headbands for my Little Miss as she’s getting into hair accessories at the moment.
I picked out this cute little pattern from Marianna’s Lazy Daisy Days. Head over to her blog for the free knitting pattern.
Knitting Up
I ignored the colour change completely and just knitted the whole thing on one colour. Mostly because I only had the one colour of this yarn and with no idea what it actually is I’ve no idea what to pair it with.
I found the knitting pattern for the flower to be a little confusing. But I got there in the end.
