Another sweet Little Dude card, this one’s called Rocket Car. I’ve paired him with First Edition Grand Plans papers and XCut dies.
Digital Stamping
The Digi image is from Polkadoodles, part of their Little Dudes range.

I print my digital stamps onto Winsor & Newton Bleedproof Marker paper. It’s bright white so my colours really pop and it also helps to stop the inks bleeding into each other.
I’ve coloured this little cutie with my Winsor & Newton BrushMarkers. Here’s the shade’s I’ve used:
Skin Tones
Hair
Red
Orange
Green
Blue

Designer Papers
I’m a big fan of First Edition papers but this Grand Plans stack has been in my stash for a while. I don’t seem to have made many cards for boys lately. But it was perfect for these Little Dudes digital stamps.

A Little Embellishment
I’ve embellished my card with a length of deep navy grosgrain ribbon that I cut off the packaging from my new pyjamas. I love it when I can get craft stash for free!!

I felt the corners needed a little something extra and noticed these Simply Creative star shaped gems in my stash. They came free with my last order from Craft Label.

Greeting
The Grand Plans paper pack includes a sheet of little words and phrases. It could be used as a background paper but I like to cut them up and use them as greetings. By using the same paper pack for my greetings I know that the colours will be perfectly co-ordinated with the rest of my card.

Take a Peak Inside
I think it’s such a shame to receive a beautifully decorated card only to open it and be faced with a blank page. So I use more of my designer papers to decorate the insides of my cards. I mostly use scraps leftover from the main design and a 10cm square of plain paper to write a nice message onto.

Products I’ve Used
This card is availible to buy in my Etsy shop.

A Little Bit About Me . . .
Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the interweb. I’m Bridie.
I’ve been crafting since I was toddling around craft shows while my mum sold knitting yarn. She used to buy me a new craft kit to keep me busy. When I grew up I set up my own online craft shop and loved every minute of it. There’s is nothing like the thrill of getting to be one of the first people to see new craft collections.
I sold my business to focus on raising my two children. They’re still young so for now I’m blogging my craft projects and sharing tutorials to inspire you. I love creating handmade cards with digital stamps. I scrapbook to preserve precious memories of my kids childhoods. I knit and sew to keep my kids in comfortable, unique clothes they love. I create batch cooked meals that give me more time to craft. And because I’m not currently earning I do all of this on a teeny tiny budget.
I’ll show you all the best ways to craft on a tight budget so you can still create a life you love.

I’ve included links to my favourite retailers for the products I’ve used to make my crafts. Click on any of the product images and links for full details. If you decide to buy any of these products I may get a small percentage of what you spend. There’s no cost to you at all.
