I’m scrapbooking these photos of my beautiful baby girl as she was trying on a flower girl outfit ready to attend her first wedding. I’ve paired them with Floral Muse papers from Dovecraft and some lovely pearl gems from Simply Creative.
Designer Scrapbook Papers

I love these Floral Muse papers from Dovecraft. They are very subtle! I’ve used them on quite a few wedding and baby projects in the past. Being a little of both they were the obvious choice for this scrapbook project.

Scrapbook Embellishments
The Floral Muse collection includes these beautiful dollies. Like the rest of the collection they are really subtle so they make great background texture.
What wedding scrapbook page would be complete without pearls?!? I’ve picked these 6mm ivory pearl stickers and added several sets of them around my scrapbook layout.
Because the Floral Muse papers are so subtle I’ve been able to go to town on the background layers. I’ve added large concentric circles which I’ve made by drawing round any round object I could find around the house – mostly plates and bowls. I’ve distressed the edges of each circle with scissors before sticking them in place.
Scrapbook Page Title

I’m really loving this super simple title to complement the soft and subtle feel to this scrapbook layout. I’ve die cut a large tag using my Sizzix Tag Die set, then I’ve stamped the text using one of my favourite alphabet stamps. If you’re only going to invest in one alphabet stamp set, this one is the one to get. It includes capital and lowercase letters with the lower case in cursive as well as typed fonts. Because of this it’s super versatile, I use it for loads of different occasions. This time I’ve chosen the cursive font which was perfect for this wedding themed scrapbook page.
Keeping things subtle I’ve chosen my Rich Cocoa Memento ink. This is a great choice if you want an ink pad that will go with everything without being as harsh as a black ink.
