I’m scrapbooking these photos of a local reservoir walk. I’ve paired them with Dreamy Pastels papers from Craft Sensations and Xcut Alphabet Dies to make this scrapbook layout.
Designer Scrapbook Papers
I love the designer papers form Craft Sensations. There are loads and loads of different designs to choose from. I’m literally spoilt for choice. The quality is great, they don’t feel thin or flimsy but they are fantastically good value.
I get them from the Range and typically pay just £2.99 a pack. Even on a tight budget I can afford to have a whole stack to choose from.

I’ve picked this particular paper pack form my stash for the blues and greens that compliment the grass and sky in my photos.

Scrapbook Embellishments
Because I’ve chosen quite busy background for this scrapbook layout I’ve kept the embellishments to a minimum.
I’ve used some tiny peel off dots that were included with a greeting peel off sheet. Peel off often include these little extras and they’re really handy for a little touch of something in an otherwise plain corner.
I find that little embellishsemtns like these tend to look better in groups of 3.

Scrapbook Page Title
I’ve chosen a simple die cut title using a mix of two different alphabet die sets from XCut.
I thought that the layout needed a little extra lift and so I’ve added a very fine black pen line around each letter of the title and the shapes in the background too.
