I’m scrapbooking some cute photos of my baby girl wearing silly hats. I’ve paired them with the Florals and Basics Design Pad from Craft Sensations and XCut dies.
Designer Scrapbook Papers
I love the designer papers form Craft Sensations. There are loads and loads of different designs to choose from. I’m literally spoilt for choice. The quality is great, they don’t feel thin or flimsy but they are fantastically good value.
I get them from the Range and typically pay just £2.99 a pack. Even on a tight budget I can afford to have a whole stack to choose from.

I wanted to echo the blues in the winter sky and the baseball hat in the pictures. A little touch of pink florals keeps the layout on the girly side.

Scrapbook Embellishments
I seem to be going through a bunting phase at the moment. I just love how cute they look! I’ve used the tiniest bunting die from XCut on this scrapbook layout. I’ve used 3D foam pads to stick it to the scrapbook page and added a little length of twine that I’ve saved from some packaging.

To balance the bunting in the top right hand corner I’ve added a little group of die cuts in the bottom right hand corner. I’ve used a couple of flag shaped tags from the same die set. A little scrap of Florals and Basics paper for the date and I’ve finished it off with a little die cut circle.

I wanted to give the layers of papers an edge so I’ve inked all the edge with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry.
Scrapbook Page Title
My title mojo has abandoned me lately. I just can’t seem to design titles I’m happy with! I thought that mixing up the fonts and sizes would look effective but now that the scrapbook layout is finished I’m not so sure.
