A photo of my sweet little baby girl, passed out with a belly full of milk. I’ve paired it with the Dreamy Pastels papers from Craft Sensations for a soft and feminine feel.
Designer Scrapbook Papers
I love the designer papers form Craft Sensations. There are loads and loads of different designs to choose from. I’m literally spoilt for choice. The quality is great, they don’t feel thin or flimsy but they are fantastically good value.

I get them from the Range and typically pay just £2.99 a pack. Even on a tight budget I can afford to have a whole stack to choose from.

Scrapbook Embellishments
With just the one photo and quite an uncluttered layout I went to town on the embellishments.
I really put my dies to work, starting with my favourite Spellbinders Jewel Flowers and Flourishes. I’ve die cut two sets of three flowers and added a die cut circle or button to the centre of each.
I thought about adding a length of lace to my scrapbook layout but it didn’t look quite right. So I reached for a die I don’t use very often, the Lace Edge die from Crafters Companion’s Verity Rose range. It’s a beautiful die but it’s oh so fiddly to use! It takes ages and ages to get all the tiny little bits out of the die cut shape.

The effort was so worth it, it really adds to this layout.
For the date I’ve added a little die cut tag with a scrap of organza ribbon stuck underneath it.
Weirdly for me, I usually keep my scrapbook layouts nice and simple, I wanted to add just a little something more to this scrapbook page. I had these little pink gems and scattered them around the page in different sizes. I’m really pleased with the elegant finish they give this layout.
Scrapbook Page Title

Again, diverting from my usual style I wanted the title to be simple and subtle. I’ve tucked it away in the bottom right hand corner. Just simple die cut lettering in a slightly contrasting shade of pink and white.
