I took this snap of my new born baby girl with the funniest expression on her face. She looks just like a grumpy old man, specifically my Grandfather!!
Designer Papers
I picked out some bright and colourful scrapbooking papers to echo the bright flowers on my little girl’s dress. The papers are from Craft Creations who have unfortunately closed down.
Embellishments
I had some Dovecraft paper flowers that this same baby girl picked out for her own scrapbook last year. I popped a little gold gem in the centre of the flowers and added a set of three gold gems in the top right hand corner of the scrapbook layout.
For my journaling I used a die cut tag with some organza ribbon tied to the hole.
Scrapbook Page Title
I’ve come up with a great way of saving that stack of old greetings cards from special occasions like a new baby. I cut elements off the front of the cards and use them as embellishments and titles in my scrapbook pages. This way I can preserve some of the cards without them just being stored in a box somewhere.
