I think this has got to be my favourite scrapbook page of the year so far. It might just be because these are the very first photos I took of my Little Miss when she was just hors old. Or it might be that I got to put my new Sizzix Heart die to work!
Designer Papers
I don’t tend to use a lot of pink in my crafting but it was the perfect choice for the small mountain of baby girl photos I’ve got to scrapbook. So I treated myself to this It’s a Girl paper stack from First Edition.
I really like the First Edition papers, the quality is second to none and the designs are always versatile.

Embellishments
I’ve followed the sketch pretty accurately and embellishment my scrapbook layout with die cut hearts. I love using leftover scraps of paper to embellish my crafts.

I’m currently loving my new Sizzix Framelits Heart Die set.

Distress Inking
I usually ink the edges of most of the elements on my scrapbook pages. I love how it creates a sense of consistency across the whole project. For this layout I’ve chosen Spun Sugar distress ink.

I use a distress inking tool to sweep the ink onto the edges of my paper pieces. It’s a super easy way to add some depth and dimension to a scrapbook page.
Products I’ve Used
I’ve really enjoyed working with the It’s a Girl papers from First Edition. I’ve got plenty of papers left over to scrapbook the rest of my baby girl photos.
I do hope my latest scrapbook project has given you some inspiration for your own scrapbook pages.
